Bracken & Bees

Haiku

I wrote these verses under canvas during my annual hiking trip in Cumbria. Nature was really starting to come alive, as were the rain clouds.

Wishing walkers well
New nodding bracken waking,
Rolled tendrils unfurled.

Rain`s callous kisses
Tattoo my tent at night
The Lakes, a puddle.

Bobbing buzzing bees
Tasting lupin, sage and thyme
May days dining out.
